A DISTINGUISHED SURGEON.
TO VISIT THE DOMINION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the opening of the Waiuku cottage hospital, the Hon. C. J. Parr on Saturday said that Dr. W. J. Mayo, the “greatest product of modern surgical science,” would visit New Zealand next February. Dr. Mayo is a resident of Rochester, Minnesota, U.S.A., and his hospital there employs oyer one hundred specialists. He is visiting New Zealand in connection with the annual meeting of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association, to’ oe held at Auckland. t
