ENTERTAINMENTS.

JVERYBODY’S. “KISSING CUP’S RACE? MATINEE TO-DAY AT 3.15. As a rule the human actors always bulk in the cast of a new film and get their names well plastered across the posters, etc., but the real, hero of “Kissing Cup’s Race,” the new British production which screens for the last time tonight at Everybody's, is the gallant racehorse who gives his name to this picture. A famous British racing stable was placed at the disposal of the producers in order that the picture might be thoroughly convincing at every point. “Kissing Cup,” who comes from a famous racing stock, is in fact treated with all the consideration due to a popular screen favorite and in the end is ridden to victory by Joe Plant, a famous jockey, who has been christened “the pocket Hercules of the British turf.” There will be a special matinee screening this afternoon, commencing at 3.15, when children will be admitted for sixpence. THE PEOPLE’S TOM MIX IX “THE FIGHTING STREAK.” The popular screen star Tom Mix appears to-night at the People’s in “The Fighting Streak,” a picture crammed with romance, adventure, stunts and stirring action. “The Fighting Streak” is a title that can b e interpreted in several different ways. But every one of them connotes abundant action and entertainment —especially in conjunction with the name of Tom Mix. In this instance it is a story of a brawny young blacksmith in a small western town who is forced by taunts and circumstances to show the fighting streak within him, after vainly trying to avoid trouble because of his promise to a dying mother. When he finally does “see red” and opens upon his bullying tormentors, the result is disastrous for them and sends him off into the hills as an outlaw with a price on his head. The supporting films include a Sunshine Comedy. “The Tin Broncho.” and a Fox News film. The prices of admission are advertised as usual.
