By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following Government weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: ‘‘Present indications are for northwest to southwest winds, strong to gale. Changeable and squally weather', with rain probable, especially in districts with a westerly aspect, but warm and sultry on the east coast for a short time. The barometer is unsteady, with a • falling tendency in the north, but is rising soon in the south.”
