When a family man with the aid of a thoroughly experienced adviser has made a good will he has performed a vitally important duty towards his family—but the duty does not end with the proper signing and safe custody of the document. As time goes on the prospective needs of dependants may change. They may develop temperaments and tendencies necessitating the provision of safeguards to the wasting or frittering away of their interests. There may be alterations in the number or circumstances of dependants or next-of-kin, rendering necessary a re-distribution of the estate. The will should therefore be carefully 'revised at intervals to accord with the changed circumstances.
