SMALL WRECK.
KETCH EDNA LOST. CARGO FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. THE CREW SAFE. By Telegraph.—Press Association Auckland, Feb. 2. The Collector of Customs has been advised by wireless from Awanui that the ketch Edna ie a total wreck north of Parenga Heads. The crew are safe and are proceeding to Auckland to-day. The Edna was owned by Nobel’s Explosives Company and was carrying explosives to New Plymouth. The hull and cargo were insured in England for ’ £5OOO. The Edna was carrying explosives for the New Plymouth Harbor Board. ■ Parenga. Head* arc six miles south of North Capo islet and 180 miles north of Auckland.
