A COUNTY DISPUTE.
> (To the Editor.) Sir, —Jn regard to my challenge to Cr. McGuinness, if it will help him to accept it, I am quite willing to allow him to name which public’ hospital shall receive the benefit. I choose the Stratford one because we. are both ratepayers In the Stratford county. I do not intend to traverse bis letter further at present. I thought I knew Or. McGuinness pretty well, but. I, with others who are conversant with the whole proceedings, after reading it, will know him much better in the future. Finnerty bridge is finished. Elthaun County have paid the full half cost of the bridge, as they promised to do at a meeting held two years before the plan of the bridge was agreed to and the estimate made.—l am, E. WALTER.
