AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET. By Telegraph —Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Sales on the Stock Exchange to-day were; War Loan. 1927, £9l 10s; South British Insurance, 80s Od; Loan and Mercantile, £80: Grand Junction, 9s. THE STOCK MARKET. Auckland, Last Night. The following prices were obtained at Westfield to-day:— Beef.—Good yarding, with n fair proportion of well finished cattle: tone decidedly weaker; extra choice ox 35s per 1001 b., prime 335. 295, second quality 28s to 255; cows, extra prime 30s, prime 28s to 22s Gd, second quality hard to sell.
Sheep.—Large yarding; prices on a par with last week: extra heavy wethers 255, prime 23s Gd to 20s, unfinished 19s to 14s, ewes, extra 19s, priune 18s to 14s. Calves.—Fair yarding; good sorts sold well; runners £5 10s to £4 10s, vealers £4 10s to £2 10s, fresh dropped 10s to ss. Pigs.—Fair yarding; prices firm; baconers £G 10s to £5, choppers £G to £4 10s, porkers £4 to £2 10s.
Lambs.—Small yarding of finished lambs; prices improved considerably; heavy 225, prime 20s to IGs.
