PRODUCE FROM OVERSEAS. HTGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated 20th instant, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London;— MEAT. No material alteration except that lamb market is weaker and tendency downwards. Mutton, no change in price, but trade dull. Beef, more tone to the market early this week, but owing to the return of warm weather, demand is not good. Present quotations

Government ewes have been sold to English firms. Arrangements have been made for nominated agent to distribute percentage of them. It is understood that price is 4|d per lb. BUTTER. Demand continues fail’, and recent advances maintained. Very little English available, and Irish is in poor request. Danish, firm but quiet.
