The reply of the Waterside Workers’ federation to the demand for assurances made at Saturday’s conference has not, yet been received and it is feared that a settlement will not be reached this week. Forty-six vessels are now idle at .Wellington, the total tonnage being 1.43,$3l tons. POSITION AT AUCKLAND. MOST OF THE MEN IDLE. Auckland, Last Night.
