HYDRO-ELECTRIC WORKS. The Resident Engineer (Mr. A?. Feat* less) submitted a report on matters re-M quiring attention in connection Witt tkf' work on the hydro-electric scheme, He stated: — Housing!.—l suggest that dwellings be, erected approximately 48ft by 10ft each to accommodate 10 single men. Three and later possibly four of these will be required for tunnel men for sleeping quarters. A . common kitchen anet dining-room will also be necessary. That first twenty men will be accommodated 1 in chapel. Later this dwelling will be used for surface men. Here also A hut on the abovo lines may be necessary. Corkill) to subdivide the section (containing three foods twenty-one perches, and having a frontage of'3B feet), as follows: Allotment A containing 1 rood 20 perches having 15 feet frontage tof Hamblyn Street, and allotment B con-' taming two roods having a frontage off 23 feet to Hamblyn Street. GENERAL. On the recommendation of the Car- v negie Institute Committee it waa decided that the following donors |e thanked for their gifts to the museum: Messrs. ,1.
