Wellington, Last Night. . ■ The Prime Minister has not yet received any reply to his cabled request . for information regarding the policy o! the Imperial Government in the disposal - of accumulated New Zealand and Aufr * tralian wool. A reply may have beet , delayed owing to the absence from Lon< don of Sir James Allen, who is at pres ; ent attending the meeting of the League of Nations as the representative of Nevv, Zealand. Until tlie Government knows what method is going to be adopted in the, sale of accumulated wool ifcannot decide definitely upon the measures that may be required in this country. The price of wool at the forthcoming local, sales is sure to be affected Sy (he decision as to whether or not the Brit-' ish. Government is going to hold the wool firmly. '■■?■
