Jennings (Waitqmo), who has asked several times this session for the introduction of a Pure Seeds Bill. the. matter again in the House of Representatives to-day. He said that very great damage had been dcjme in some of the newer districts of tne Dominion by impure seeds. 'The Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Nesworthy) assured the member that ths matter was receiving attention. Hft intended to introduce a Bill dealing- wftfc \ seeds, but there-had been difficulty in getting the Bill drafted. The nieasurt would require very careful drafting if it i was! to effect the desired reforms Without causing hardship and ill-feeling. If he was not able to introduce the Bill during the present session, the fault would not be the Government'*. Hit promise to bring forward the Bill would be kept at as early a date as possible.
