Owing to the housing shortage locally the residences are taken up with families in permanent occupation, and little relief is in 'sight as far as these conditions are concern* ed. As public accommodation is fairly limited, holiday makers will have to resort to camping. For those who com® equipped with tents the Borough Council is specially catering this year, andf preparations have been made for sani" tary arrangements on the beach areaf to which water has also been laid oq. About twenty camping sites ar? avail* able near Moturoa, and theqe are to bet leased at a moderate sum. .
