ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
TRAIN VICTIM'S IDENTITY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrisht. Dunedin, Last Night. The adjourned inquest concerning the death of the man whose name is supposed to be Angus Shaw, whose body was found on the railway line at Wingatui over a week ago, was concluded to-day. The police evidence established the fact beyond doubt that his name is as stated, that he was a returned soldier, that he had relatives in Australia, and that he had recently been employed as a groom at Hangujra. The verdict was that the cause of death was dislocation of the neck, sustained through the deceased falling beneath a railway train whilst in motion.
