Mr. Storey, criticising the deci'pion of the Commodities' Commission to increase the local price of butter jn,sympathy with the overseas increase, threatens to abolish the commission, which was! the creation of the previous Government. The Attorney-General Mr. McTiernan, subsequently introduced a Bill in the Assembly to prevent undue profit-taking and repealing the Commodities Control Act.
