COMMITTEE'S REPORT. . By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—CopyrlJbt, Sydney, Sept. 2. It is understood that a committee appointed at a recent conference of sporting bodies to consider the amateur status question has completed a report recommending that all sport, professional and amateur, should be controlled by an amateur lederalion In future, hut that opportunity be provided for every individual professional to receive absolution if desired The report will shortly be submitted to a further conference of sporting bodies.—Aus -N.Z.
