Following a demonstration of the bourgeois parties | at Breshui against the Polish rising in Silesia, German Nationalists stoned the French and the Polish Consulates, demolished the furniture, and burned the French flag in the street. The mob then stormed the hotels where Entente officers are staying and threw out all their documents. Social Democrats refused to participate in the demonstration on the ground that they.would not join in any action with jingoists. ~ The Nationalists' official representative at the German Foreign Office subsequently called on tho French Ambassador and the Polish Charge d'Affaires and expressed the regret of tho German Government over fcbo affair.—Reuter Service.
