KAWAROA PARK.
EASTER MONDAY PICNIC. A further general meeting of the above society was held at the bungalow on Wednesday evening, Mr. V- H. Beat presiding over a large attendance of members. Correspondence in connection with the picnic was received. Accounts' amounting to £lB were passed for payment. The various members reported good progress for flic picnic, which promises to eclipse all previous years. It was decided to procure 3 gross of aeroplane balloons. Mr. J. Hoskin reported splendid results in canvassing. Scoutmaster Hopkins submitted a lengthy programme of events, to be held by the Boy Scouts, which would commence at 9 a.m. Easter Monday morning, the spectacular events to be given (luring the afternoon. Mr. Picard reported good work in the country, having been promised a sheep, and fat lamb for the guessing competition. Mr- J- Cross was elected a member of the committee. It was decided to make another 15 tables for the afternoon, tea.
