FARMERS" CO-OP. AT TIKORANGT. (Prom Our Own Correspondent.) The sheep fair hald by this Society at Mr. H. A. .Foreman's yards Tikorangi, on Monday, tho Bth inst., was almost In th« form of a celebration, as the first sale held under co-operative conditions in that section. The auctioneers and staff were received with enthusiasm, any assistance needed was readily forthcoming, and there was some hard work to do. There was a large gathering of settlers, buyers and onlookers, and a strong muster of sheep to meet their requirements, some 4000 being yarded, while, to crown all) the ladles—"God bless 'em"— of the district provided a. most ample lunch, backed up by a plentiful supply of ten, which proved most acceptable to the tired and thirsty workers. The sheep, mostly locally owned, were of unmially good quality, and realised good prices accordingly. Late shorn lambs brought 20s, cull lambs 13s Bd, 6-tooth to f.m. ewes 20s to 28s. cull ewes from 0s to 14s. 2-tooth wethers 32s 6d, 2-tooth ewes «Ss 3d to 33s 7d, fat ewes 32s 6d to 355, rams 3 to 4 guineas.
