IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OWNERS AND TRAINERS. JN order to avoid disappointment on nomination day (28th March), the attention of Owners and Trainers is particularly drawn to the following rule 3 which must be complied with before the nomination of any horse can bo received: REGISTRATION.—The horse must be registered with the New Zealand Trotting Association, the amount of registration fee being ICs. Provident Fund fee of £1 is also payable at the same time, which covers the horse for the whole ol irs racing career. COLORS.—Every owner must register his colors with the New Zealand Trotting Association, the using of another owner's colors being not permissible. The registration fee is 10s 6d. LICENSES| —The Trainer of every horse must hold a Trainer's License, either Amateur or Professional, the fees being Amateur ss, Professional 10s, An owner training his own horse or horses must comply with the above rule. Riders and Owners, whether Amateur or Professional, must be holders of a License before they are allowed to weigh out for a race. Fees: Amateur ss, Professional 10s. Any intending competitors who have nf already complied with the above rules are requested to communicate with the Secretary, from whom forms and all necessary information can be obtained. G. A.
