THE RACES The Taranakl Jockey Club held Its autumn meeting last Wednesday and Thursday. Great was the excitement over the meeting of Desert Gold and Gloaming, the event attracting visitors from all parts of the Dominion. The weather gods were kind, favoring us with perfect weather on both days. The grounds >yere in splendid order, and the flower beds, full of gay colored verbenas and asters, added a great deal to the attractiveness of the lawns.
