ENTERTAINMENTS.
EVERYBODY'S. Mary Miles Miiiter shows at Everybody's matinee this afternoon and filially to-night in the romantic story of "Barbara Fretchie" and her part in the American Civil War. The new programme for Monday will be heade'd by "The Belgian," a First National Exhibitor's special feature which is showing at the usual prices of admission. THE PEOPLE'S KITTY GOiRDOX IN "THE PURPLE LILY." "The Purple Lily," a World drama screening to-day and to-night at the, People's, is appropriately named, since it suggested the curious contradictions of temperament of the principal character, whose part is finely played by Kitty Gordon. Disillusioned is the central note of the play. Kitty Gordon plays the part of the Lily which longed to see the purple side of life ar.d learned what a hollow sham lay beneath the glare and glitter. The programme includes the latest gazette, travelog and a Keystone two-reel, comedy "Thirsty." The matinee to-day commences at 2 p in. THE GREAT HENRI FRENCH.
