A charge of endangering the life of their son, a mentally defective person, by failing to supply him with the awessaries of life, was admitted to-dayAv-a farmer and his wife, who rtsMtMt Hukotere. The evidence showed thatthe 6on, who waa apparently about 26 yews old, had been confined in a small shed, which was in a filthy condition. Tlw son was only moderately nourished, and when seen by the police he was in a filthy condition. Accused were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence, the son being sent to a mental hoenit*V
