THE BABINDA CYCLONE.

Brisbane, March 13. ■The cyclone completely destroyed 35a> binda and almost demolished Cairns. The damage is colossal. All telegraphic uOllimuMiciition with, the no h is cut, off. So far one death and seventeen hospital cases have been reported as due to the Babinda cyclone.
FURTHER DETAILS. Received March 13, 10.15 p.m. Brisbane, March 13. Further reports as to Sunday's cyclone state that Innisfail (formerly cail.ed Geraldton) was completely wrecked, practically every house in the district being demolished. Eight' persons were killed and many injured. Gordonvale, Atherton and other places near Cairns were seriously damaged. Large numbers are homeless. Owing to the disorganisation of commutations, it is impossible to obtain the full extent of the disaster.
