WEATHER FORECAST.

Southerly to easterly breezes have ruled, with fair to cloudy conditions generally, but scattered showers have been reported along the east coast of the North Island. Little change in the atmospheric pressure has taken place. Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds, backing to northerly northwards of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, and northerlies prevailing and freshening elsewhere. The weather will be warmer, but with increasing haze and cloudiness, and a change following shortly. The barometer has a fallingtendency.
