SURRENDER OF A GERMAN FORCE. London, Nov 28. A special message from Adanda'states that Tafel and the' remainder of his : force have surrendered. FORCE SURRENDERS UNCONDITIONALLY. Received Nov. 29, 9.10 pnn. London. Nov. 28. East Africa official: The Germans dislodged from Scmbas were reported in the vicinity of the Rovuma river, short of food and ammunition. Colonel Tafel, from the Mahenge area, with 110 Germans, 1212 Askaris. and 2200 other natives surrendered unconditionally in the vicinity of Newala.
