There was a good attendance at the Empire last evening to view the first screening of the Famous Players' latest feature, "The Commanding Officer," in which the leading part is played by the versatile young actress, Alice Dovey. "The Commanding Officer" is a stirring military romance in four acts. It combines in a thrilling and absorbing manner a novel plot and a splendid story excellently told.
