PEACE TALK.
GERMANY'S TERMS. NOT LIKELY TO BE CONSIDERED. - Received March 14, 9.15 p.m. Washington, March 14. It is authoritatively stated that Colonel House has submitted to President Wilson the following German peace terms:— r The return to Germany of her colonies; No indemnities on either side; Polish autonomy; The partition of Montenegro, Serbia, and Albania among Austria, Bulgaria, and Greece; Russian control of Persia; German evacuation of France and Belgium; England to he neither the gainer nor the loser, but that Turkey be freed from British influence.
Colonel House reports that Germany ne longer expects to retain Belgium or to get indemnities, and he reported that the Allies are unwilling to consider peace on these terms.
