(From Our Own Correspondent.)' Stratford, March )f!. The Stratford Kecniitins; Committee have enlisted 27 men to date. At (he. Patriotic CnmmiUee meeting held this afternoon it was decided to hold a '-soldier':' day" on Easter Monday on the Stratford A. and V 4ssociation Grounds. The Ladies Patriotic Committee have kindly offered to provide the catering, and'a meeting of the combined committees will be held next Tuesday at 2.30 p.m. This function wilPtake the place of the Gymkhana, that has been usually held by the Stratford A. and P.' Association on this date. The , new Municipal Buildings, are nearing completion. The tiled 'roof on the main building is practically finished, the Council offices only require the ceilings, and tlie architect (Mr. -I. T). ITealy), when interviewed, said that providing the contractor could procure men the buildings should be iinished hy the middle of next month. _ Measles are very prevalent in the distiet.
