TRAFFIC RETURNS. OVER :<SS TAKEN LAST WEEK, The traffic returns for tlie New Plymouth trams for the partial running on Friday and for the full day's service oh Saturday were available last night. During the two days 8083 people travelled in the ears and the revenue amounted to £55 14s 4d. The number of tickets sold on Friday was 2034, made up of 809 Id sections, 480 2d sections, 047 3d sections, 97 concession . tickets, and Id for luggage. On Saturday 1789 Id section tickets Were sold, 098 2d sections, 1120 3d sections, and 155 concession tickets, a total of 3762. Following are the detailed returns and takings:— Passengers. » Cash. At a meeting of the Tramways Committee of the Borough Council last night the time-table for the temporary service was discussed. It was decided not to run the trains on Sunday until the full service is in operation, and the weekday time-table was fixed aa follows: — From Fitzroy 7 a.m., thence quarterhour service till 9 a.m.; 9 a.m. till 11.30 a.m., -half-hour service; 11.30 a.m. till 2 p.m. quarter-hour service; 2 p.m. till 4.30 p.m. half-hour service; 4.30 p.m. till 8 p.m. quarter-hour service; 8 p".m. till 10.30 p.m. half-hour service, the last car from Fitzroy to town leaving at 10.30 p.m. The first car in the morning from the town railway station will leave at 7.15 a.m., and cars will run on a similar time-table to the cars from Fitzroy until 10.45 p.m., when the last car will leave town for Fitzroy. . ~
