TARANAKI BANKER CHALLENGES. The holders of the banner (New Plymouth) have received challenges from Meat End and.llawera, and last night the bowling centre fixed March 2 for the West End match, and March 16 for the Hawera match. COMMEMORATION CUP. The annual match between Auckland and New Plymouth, which is played alternately on the greens of the respective dubs, will this year take place at New Plymouth, the Auckland players arriving here on March 0. It is probable that the visitors will also play a match against both West End and Fitzroy. New Plymouth haß held the Cup for three years, winning it in tile first instance at Auckland. The profits of the recent tournament hold at New Plymouth are stated to be in the region of £24. I
