Many will regret to hear of the death of Mr. Henry Moffatt, who (with his wife) was for years a resident of Hawera and who passed away at Toowoomba, Queensland, on October 211. Mr. Moffatt was, says the Star, well-known as an evangelist, and for his sterling character. For some years past he has been evangelising in the back-blocks of Queensland, and. although ho had attained the age of 6D years, he continued in this up to bis death. He is survived by Mrs. Moffatt, three daughters and two sons. The daughters are Mrs. Percy Douglas, Hawera; Mrs. Bert Eagle, Toowomba, Queensland; and Mrs. Rowland Maunder, Tnlmerston North: and the sons Mr. W. Moffatt, of Messrs. Abraham and Williams, of Palmerston North, and Mr. IT. Moll'att, of Wellington.
