At the wool sales there is a little more competition for shabby crossbreds, but prices are unchanged. Good wools sell well. The following prices were realised for the fleece portions of the clips named:—Ben Ohau top 14d, average 13Jd; Otipau 27id and 24jd. Banks. —Australasia £llO 15s, Union .£52, National Bank of Australasia £lO9 15s, National Bank of New Zealand £IOO 7s, New Zealand £2O 7s. HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The Department of Agriculture, Industries and Commerce has received the following cablegram from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, dated London, July 10 (Note: Quotations, unless otherwise specified, are average market prices on spot) : ■Mutton.—The flovernment is regulating meat supplies.
