THE REBELS REPULSED. MARITZ BEATEN AT UPINGTON. LOYALISTS SUFFER LIGHTLY. Received 25, 9.30 p.m. Pretoria, January 25. Official.—Twelve hundred rebels with four guns, under Kemp and Maritz, attacked Upington on Sunday, but were repulsed, removing many dead and wounded, besides leaving twelve killed, 23 wounded, 96 prisoners, and a Maxim gun.
