STAGGERING PROGRESS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 0.30 p.m. Berlin, June 3. Count Zeppelin, addressing the Marine Engineers' Society, said that truly staggering progress in aeroplanes had forced the consideration of whether or not they were deprived by the dirigible balloons of their excuse for existence. Personally, he did not believe that airships were superfluous, but thought that experts should consider the question of a passenger airship.
