Mr. McLeod, in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, expressed regret that through circumstances over which the executive had no control the balance had been reduced by about £4O. He paid a special tiibnle to the work of the treasurer (Mr. E. Whit tie) in unravelling the position of thv finances. The "ace was, however, now firmly established, and despite the loss; there could b/i no question of abandoning it.

Brookes, W. Dineen, J. McLeod C. Sadler, W. C. Weston, McKay. Cattley, C. Bond, N. Benner, E. Jones, Vinsen, Jf. Lightband, Stainton, G. Bruce, J. Smith, G. Malam, W. Way, J. Bennett, H. Boswell, Brocklebank; treasurer. Mr. E. Whittle; auditor, Mr. H. Stocker. It was decided to hold the circular road race in September next.
