BOY SCOUTS IN ACTION.
BOUT A FORCE OF PARIS APACHES Times and Sydney Sim Services. Paris, May 7. A troop of sixty lioy Scouts marched to Labourgex, outside tlie fortifications of Paris, and were greeted by a gang of apaches with hoots and jeers. As they returned, the apaches, who were lying in. wait, met the scouts with a volley of stones. The scouts deployed, and a ten minutes' battle ensued, in which the apaches were, beaten off by the scouts, who 'had their staves broken on the heads of the enemy. The police state that twelve apaches had to be assisted from the field. The apaches pursued the scouts with a desultory fire from revolvers, and one scout was wounded by a bullet in the thigh.
