Mr. M. L. Reading, of the New Zealand Times, who is to succeed Mr. S. Saunders as editor of the Lyttelton Times, is to take up his new duties on ■Tune 1. It is understood that Mr. It, A. Loughnan who previously edited, at different periods, the Lvttelton Times and the New Zealand Times, is to take over the editorship of the last-named journal temporarily. Mr. Loughnan's term as a Legislative Councillor expired on Thursday,
