There was an uproar in the Duma, the Opposition groups protesting against tlie intended prosecution of Tchcidze for, propagating republican ideas from the Rostrum. On the President's motion, fifteen Socialists were suspended for a fortnight. Singly and in batches, Circassian princes and working men were removed by the Sergeant-at-Arms, assisted by guards; before a full house and a crowded gallery.
