The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have recciv- 1 ed tile following cablegram from their London house under date otli mat., relative to the progress of the London wool sales:—As compared with last sales closing rates prices are about the same for lambs, merino and crossbred, medium greasy crossbred, coarse greasy cross-' bred, ,medium scoured crossbred, land coarse scoured crossbred; und higher by about five per cent, for greasy merino super, greasy merino medium and fine ' greasy crossbred; ami higher by about f par to five per cent, for merino inferior, ( scoured merino, fine scoureil crossbred and crossbred slips.
