JJIHE KGMONT COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to raise the Special Lo:ui;i hereinafter mentioned and numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 0 and 7 respectively i for the purposes of construction of the several works referred to in each proposed Loan so numbered as aforesaid, and that such Loan shall he applied to the purposes of the works mentioned in each said Loan. Total £47,000 And the said Council proposes to make the following respectively as securities for the interest and sinking fund in connection with the said Loan No. 1 and for the repayment of each of the said respective Loans numbered 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, namely— LOAN 1 (£1000). known as the Northern subdivision oi the Rahotu Riding and consisting of all those sections of land bounded by the Puniho Bond, the Forest Reserve, the Oaonui River and the sea. REPAYMENT OF LOANS. The whole of Loan No. 1 is to be repayable at the expiration of twenty years from the raising; of the Loan and to bear interest at the rate of six pounds per centum per annum. EACH of the said Loans numbered 2, 3, 4, 5, C and 7, respectively, with interest thereon, at the rate of £3 12s 2d per centum per annum, is to be repayable in ; 3U years by half-yearly instalments on the days at the times and in the manner provided by Part 11. of the ''New Zealand Statu Guaranteed Advances Act, 1909," or any amendment thereof.

It is proposed to pay out of each said respective Loan moneys the cost 01 raising the Loan, together with the first year's interest on each said Loan, and any preliminary expenses incurred in connection with the scheme for which the Loan is raised.
