His body has not yet been found. Lieutenant Towers, a passenger, clung to the machine, and was carried under the water, but rose to the surface. When rescued he was in a state of nervous collapse. The machine turned over in mid-air, throwing Billingsley out. FAULTY REPAIRS. London, June 20. The Aero Club Committee found that Lieutenant Arthule's accident was due to faulty repairs by an unconscientious or incompetent workman.
