AERIAL ACCIDENTS.
A FALL OF 1600 FEET. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 22, 5.5 p.m. . New York, June 21. Ensign Billingsley fell 1000 feet from mid-air into Chesapeake Bay. His body has not yet been found. Lieutenant Towers, a passenger, clung to the machine, and was carried under the water, but rose to the surface. When rescued he was in a state of nervous collapse. The machine turned over in mid-air, throwing Billingsley out. FAULTY REPAIRS. London, June 20. The Aero Club Committee found that Lieutenant Arthule's accident was due to faulty repairs by an unconscientious or incompetent workman.
