ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
ACCIDENT UNDER ARREST. Per Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. Joseph Gobbie, who was arrested on a charge of drunkenness, after a determined resistance, was placed in a motor-car, and was being carried to the police station. He attempted to jump from the car, and a constable seized his arm. Gobbie's leg caught in the wheel and was broken. Gobbie was removed to the hospital.
KILLED BY A TRAM,
Wellington, Saturday.
John Dillon, who was injured by being knocked down by a tram-car last Thursday, succumbed to his injuries j last night.
