FIRES.
HOTEL GUTTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Blenheim, April 4. Early this morning an outbreak of Are was discovered in the bar of the Federal Hotel, Pieton. The bar was completely gutted, and the flames spread to the roof. The steel ceiling of the lower floor saved the upstairs portion from being burnt. The flames were subdued by the brigade. The damage is estimated at £350. The building is owned by Adlam Bros., Blenheim. The insurances are not ascertainable.
