PETROLEUM.
THE INGLEWOOD COMPANY. The annual meeting of the Inglewood Oil-boring and Prospecting Company, which was adjourned from last week, was held last night. Mr. T. Furlong occupied the chair. The report and balancesheet, as previously published, were read and adopted. Mr. T. Furlong and Mr. T. C. Nicholls (Inglewood) were ed directors. The question of the appointment of a third director, in. place of Mr. A. D. Gray (Auckland), who did not offer himself for re-election, was left to the Board, with power to fill the vacancy. Mr. Hugh Bayly, was re-appoint-ed auditor. A vote of than-ks was passed to Mr. T. K. Skinner for having placed at the disposal of the company his valuable property at Moturoa. A similar compliment was paid to Mr. T. C. Nicholls, and a vote of thanks to Mr. Furlong for presiding, closed the meeting.
