THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. The fine programme that has been shown to good houses at the Royal for the past two nights will be screened to-night for the last time. Those who have not previously attended Should not miss the opportunity of viewing this selection, which numbers an exceptionally interesting London Gazette, the Selig railway sensation ''The Girl with the Lantern" and "The Picture Idol" a film featuring the. popular Maurice Costello. To-morrow there will be a complete change, when the management will introduce a great colored star picture of Eastern life ''The God of the Sun."

EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. The new programme to be tcreened for the, first occasion to-night should prove a most popular attraction for the next three nights. The dramatic pictures are represented with "The Xurse"' (Edison), "In little Italy" (Selig). "Won by Waiting" (Lubin). and an English production featuring the popular picture personality, "Lieut. Rose," in which h# meets with a number of surprising adventures in search of "Hidden Treasure." Wonderful horsemanship is shown in the film "German Army Equestriuus" and there are some fine scenic views of '"The Upper Thames." Comedy centres around John Bunny in his efforts to eaeape the clutches of an old maid in "Leap YearProposals." The popular Nordisk Co. are also represented with a lengthy comedy "His wish to have a son."
