FIRES.
A WAREHOUSE GUTTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Friday. Messrs. Find]ny and Co.'s soft goods warehouse in Lower High Street was attached by fire early this morning. The shirt faetnrv was gutted, valuable plant being destroyed, and the stock and show rooms largely damaged by water. The cause of the outbreak is unknown. The damage is roughly estimated at close on £ 40.000. Insurances total £11,900. If tout property i* not insured, call at or ring up the United Insurance Company, Ltd.. DcYon Street; telephone 108.
