INGLEWOOD. Xew Plymouth journeyed out to Inglewood yesterday, and defeated the local club by 8 games to 2. Scores, New Plymouth players being mentioned first:— W. Weston beat Thomson, 3 up and two to play. W. Bewley beat Cudgeon, 5 up and 4 to play. J. Paton beat Brown, 8 up and 7 to play. Glasgow beat Low, 5 up .and 4 to play. C. H. Weston beat Haworth, 1 up. Morrison lost to Dr. Gault, 6 up and 3 to play. Boin beat Dewhirst. S. Burgess lost to Johnston, 2 up. Kebbell beat Billing, 5 up and 4 to play. Honan beat Dr. Hislop, 7 up and 0 to play. Hawera boat Waverley on Wednesday . at the latter place by 8 games to 7.
