London, July 4. The test team against the South Afrii cans will be Fry, Spooner, Foster, Jessop, Robbs, Rhodes, Barnes, Woolley, Smith, Dean, J. W. Hearne and Hitch. AUSTRALIA v. YORKSHIRE. London, July 3. It rained all night, but ceased at 8.30 a.m., and there were soft but drying breezes, so that play could be started at 2 o'clock. The weather was bright at that hour, but' the attendance at the ground was small. Wilson and Denton, the not-outs, went to the wickets, and Whitty and Hazlitt. began the bowling. Runs came steadily, fifty in an hour, and the century, in 105 minutes. When 34 had been added, Kelleway howled Denton, who had batted for 95 minutes. He did some good pulling and driving, and his score included seven fours. Drake, who took his place, was run out without having added to the score, xorkshirc made 280, and the. Australians went to the wickets long enough to score three for none. The match was therefore drawn. Wilson played soundly ior 155 minutes, and Hirst for CO minutes, pulling and ondriving. He hit a sixer and seven fours. Hazlitt at point threw down Tasker's wicket. Carkeek cleverly stumped two men. The 200 was hoisted in 190 minutes, and the innings, which lasted 250 minutes, closed at 5.55. Australia made three runs in ten minutes. The detailed I scores were:
