Advices from Kaitangata state that the miners allied to the Federation of Labor have decided to hold a meeting to-morrow to consider the position created by the directors of the company, deciding that they cannot 'enter into an agreement with this section. This will practically mean throwing the mine idle for two 'shifts. The executive of the Federation of Labor is to he consulted before the next step is taken.
